Pacifica skin care is free of Parabens, Sulfates, Propylene Glycol, Phthalates, GMOs, Triclosan and Petro-chemicals. . All Pacifica candles are made in the USA in a factory in Portland, Oregon. All Pacifica candles contain lead-free wicks.  The Pacifica quality control team spends countless hours testing wick-to-wax ratio to ensure a proper burning candle for every fragrance.  Pacifica has worked diligently over the last year to become REACH-compliant in 2010 with their candle colors. This means that Pacifica uses vegetable oil based solvents to disperse color pigment into their wax bases. Pacifica uses a propriety non-GMO soy wax blend in their Soy Candles. Soy wax is a bi-product of the soy industry. It burns well and consistently lifts fragrance into the air. Pacifica uses a highly refined paraffin wax in their pillar candles. Paraffin is a by-product of the petrochemical industry and would otherwise be waste.
